Occasionally I tune into Mrbittertv on justin.tv to watch him be coached and also pick the brains of starcraft 2 pro-gamers. I noticed his streaming page banner could use a little tlc and wanted to give back a little.

My goals:

  • Use images from the blizzard fan site kit. Avoid copyright issues since he makes moolah from his video on demand (vods) on blip.
  • Incorporate links to his vods and to his coaching website. Provide one banner without links just in case.
  • Incorporate the Zerg icons and imagery since mr.b coaches Zergs and plays the race exclusively.
  • Take a shot in the dark that he maybe would have use for them.

I came up with some shapes in Alchemy that reminded me of animal skull.

I took took those basic shapes into Inkscape and worked with them for a few hours.

Re-imagining a logo. Fire is one part of it. I think I could of
painted it faster but it is good to know how to make fire with
blender. I wonder if fire is as time consuming with after effects.

Discovered a nice program recently. I really like the result. It's called Alchemy. I am planning on using this program a lot more for sketching and getting loose.
